Where is the Long Beach Resort located?
Our resort is situated right on the sandy beach of Ampasindava in Befotaka Bay, on the beautiful island of Nosy Be.
How far is the resort from the airport and the city?
Fascene International Airport is around 14 km and just under 20 minutes’ drive from the resort.
Djamandjar is the nearest major town and the journey takes 25 minutes.
The Island’s capital, Hell Ville, can be reached in around 45 minutes.
How do I get to the resort from the airport, port, or other hotel?
We would be happy to arrange a comfortable transfer for you in air-conditioned vehicles directly from the airport, the port or another hotel on the island. On request, we can also arrange a tuk-tuk.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is officially at 3.00 pm, but earlier check-in is available on request.
Check-out is by 12.00 noon at the latest. Changes to this are also possible on request.

How many bungalows are there in the resort?
Our resort has a total of 9 bungalows – five of which are right on the beach (Lémurien, Baobab, Tsingy, Fossa, Ravinala). Four are located in the second row with sea views (Sokatra, Ylang Ylang, Kabosy, AloAlo).
Are the bungalows air-conditioned?
Our bungalows are equipped with very quiet ceiling and pedestal fans.
Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available to our guests in the bungalows, on their terraces and in public areas.
Is there a restaurant at the resort?
Yes, our Lakana Restaurant, situated right on the sandy beach, serves regional and international specialities. Our stone-baked pizzas are also very popular.
Do you offer vegetarian or special dishes?
Yes, our kitchen team is happy to cater for special requests or dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan options.
Can I book excursions with you?
All popular excursions, such as trips to the islands of Nosy Iranja, Nosy Komba and Nosy Sakatia, a tour of Nosy Be, the Lokobe Nature Reserve, the Androadroatra waterfall or the Mont Passot viewpoint, can be booked at our reception.
Can I book snorkeling or boat tours with you?
Yes, we’d be happy to help you organise boat trips, fishing trips, or snorkelling and diving tours.
Are families welcome and is it suitable for children?
Yes, indeed – we have several family bungalows and a lovely children’s playground. There’s also a paddling pool in the main pool area.
What are the cancellation policies?
Until when can I cancel free of charge?
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival:
Cancellation is possible within 7 days of arrival; 50% of the total price will be charged.
No-show:
In the event of a no-show, i.e. failure to arrive on the day of arrival, 50% of the total price will also be charged.
